FAQ

Will my current processing be disrupted?

No. We recommend you continue to process with your current account while you set up and test your new account with us.

Can I have more than one merchant account?

Yes. For many merchants it makes sense to have multiple accounts.

Can I use my current gateway?

In most cases, it's ok to keep your current gateway if your current gateway is certified on the FDMS - Nashville processing platform. If you plan on running multiple merchant ID's, it's typically required to set up a gateway account for each new account you manage. It also helps to reconcile your accounting and settlement particularly if you're running transactions with different providers. As part of our normal set up we will provide you a new gateway account. If you would like to switch your gateway provider or do not have one just let us know. Contact us with any questions you have on this subject.

How long does it take to get set up?

Normal set up takes 1-4 days depending on your monthly volume request and industry risk type.

At which point in the month should I switch my services?

It's best to start processing with your new account on the first day of a new month. Once you're comfortable with your new account it's best to make the switch at the end of the month.

Starting on the first day of the month gives you enough transaction volume to ensure your charge back ratios stay well under Visa/MasterCard charge back threshold of 1%.

What if I'm nearing 1% on my current charge back ratios?

Can I transfer my recurring billings to you?

Yes.

Gateway transaction fees. How are they billed?

Gateway fees are billed directly by the gateway provider and will show as a line item deduction on your business checking account.

We do not charge any per transaction fees for merchants that process less than 10,000 transactions per month.
