Do I get charged if a customer check is declined?
NO. If a customer-s check is declined the merchant will not be charged the discount percentage fee on that transaction.
Is your check conversion program in compliance with the NACHA ?
Yes. Our programs are NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) compliant.
Is check conversion as secure as credit card processing and is it less expensive?
Yes. With our system, you can process checks with the same security as with a credit card, and for a lower cost.
Will I still need to make bank runs to deposit checks?
NO. Since the customer check is converted electronically at point of sale, you deposit electronically right from your business computer.
Do I still need to keep track of paper checks?
NO. Once you-ve converted a check it's stored electronically. And, you always give the customer their original check with a receipt.
Does the customer have to be present for the transaction?
Yes. A Face-to-face transaction is required.
